I head the brand Kaaz thrown around a bit, also associated with a high price tag, but built very tough. Don't know how you broke your diff, but I assume your going to want a fairly string one.

i have thrashed it abit i mean whats the point of having a v8 and not making the most of it, but the other night i had to give it abit doing a u'e coz a car was coming and i went off this plastic thing and the left whell gave out and it went bang,

people throw around the term "centre only" with the diff, i dont know if that means i might be able to replace the centre part if i want to or if i have to replace the whole diff

I believe that the center just means everything inside the diff casing. Why don't you take it to a diff joint and see what they say.

Why would you go with a lower ratio then what was in there already?
    HSV's come out with 3.7 or 3.75 i think.

I went to Walkinshaw to get my gears changed from 3.45 to 4.11
    Think i paid about $2k

the auto's dont have the stall converters to handle the 3:7 and 4:11 gears they just break them really easily.

Doesn't sound right to me either.

Although this guy has me stumped asked a question on the 24th got an answer on the 25th and on the 26th he's had this installed for 2 days already - that means harrop shipped over night (doubt it) and his holden dealer fobbed off other customers to install and charge him less?????
