tuning sv6s

so i'm about to buy a full exhaust, otrcai and get my baby tuned. the only thing holding me back is something my mechanic told me...

that i'm wasting my time with the 6. and that i should wait till i'm off my p's and get an 8.

so i've come here to seek your advice, should i wait till i'm off my p's (around 2 years) and get a v8 or get stuck in now?

has anyone got good results with the above mods on the alloytec sv6?

cheers, i think i'll save my coin. seems like waiting for the 8 was sound advice. probably should listen to my mechanic more... lol.

hey mate just got myself a 6 doen same cai and exhaust but apart from a few cosmetic and mods like to make it my own im saving for an ss for wen im off my p's just my 2c mate

depends what ya want dude, I put headers, CAI, mufflers and tuned mine. Did most of it myself, contact steve at Mace on here. I've been working full time and really need to get back in contact with him, been so busy :/
