you can probably go about it 2 ways,
#1 jack up the rear end, spin one wheel and see if the opposite follows.
    or
#2 read the diff tag, it should have the code and LSDY or LSDN, Y meaning Yes, and N meaning No... apparently :/

as for the options, im un aware of,

Look under the car and their will be a tag coming off the drain plug

Or jack it up and spin one of the wheels forward.. If the other spins the same way its LSD..

sorry, yeah, forgot to mention the directional motion of the other wheel,
as johnoo said, if both spin the same way, its LSD, if they spin opposite, its Standard

    cheers

Do a skid? How does that help? A burnout would tell you but not a skid. And NO they are NOT the same thing.

    skid:
    noun, verb

    12.
to slide along without rotating, as a wheel to which a brake has been applied.
    13.
to slip or slide sideways, as an automobile in turning a corner rapidly. (id call that drifitng but hey :P)
    14.
to slide forward under the force of momentum after forward motion has been braked, as a vehicle.

    learn it, remember it ppl!

sorry for going off topic, just a pet peeve, i had to say something!

I don't really care what you or CSP call it, I'll call it whatever comes to mind first...

If you've never heard the term "Rip a Skid" or "Chuck a Wheelie" then you are infact the "Kid."

In my mind, "Chuck a Wheelie" should be in reference to a bike doing a mono/wheelie/wheelstand/what ever the #### you want to call it. But heh...

I don't come up with the terminology, nor choose the words inwhich they are made up.

Get with the times Grandpa's. Lifes going to move on with or with out you.

You could always ask the dealer before tearing out of there?

Although, it'd be nice to see their face as you did it.

Maybe it is something you should have researched before parting with your hard earned cash or ticking up on credit perhaps ?
