Default reason for ve ss pulling hard

    Hi,

I was in a ve ss and it seemed to pull very hard compared to a ls1

other then being a bigger engine whats giving the hard pull would it be diff gears or the tune?

Looking to get a tune or diff gears to get the same pull on my ls1 is that possible?

If you're talking about a stock LS1 compared to a stock L98, the LS1 is famous for having a significant lack of low end torque. Once they get up and running, they're closer to the L98s, etc - but it does take a bit to get them going.

Diff gears change how the available torque is delivered, so in a sense they will help, but they will sacrifice some top end in the process. A tune will also help but it still won't behave the same way as an L98. A stroker kit is another option. Also FI.
