    Default warranty repairs.

    Hey all,
having problems with my VE under warranty repairs.

They had to replace the rear window due to the demister peeling off. They done a dodgey job doing that. Half of the bottom seal is coming off.

They won't replace the plenum cover near the windscreen wipers because it had a crack, even though it is all warped n bent!
(crack wasn't there when i took it in.)

Also there is a whistling noise when travelling at 60kmh get louder when travelling at 110kmh, coming from the front drivers door. (attempted to fix 4times at the dealer)

I got 2 months left of warranty what should i do??

solicitors letter to the dealer and to holden. if the have the issues in writing prior to your warranty running out then they should be still covered by the warranty.

Take it to another dealer. It's warranty work. Can be done at any Holden Dealership. And because you've raised the issues while under warranty, and there is a record if the two months lapse and it isnt fixed then a letter to Holden themselves will get it fixed under goodwill. Dont stress too much.

If you're not getting any joy from your dealer, try another. It often pays to shop around, even for warranty work. Some dealerships have exceptional service teams that will do whatever it takes to get the job done, including going in to bat for you when there's a warranty dispute, while others can't palm you off fast enough.

Edit. Sabbath beat me to it!
