    Default New SSV Sportwagon Redline

    Hi All,

I have just got my hands on my new SSV Sportwagon and thought I'd say hi.
I used this forum to help me learn about the SSV before i went ahead and traded the X5 4.4 for some Aussie muscle. Some great info on here and some nice rides too...

    Specs:
    SSV Redline Sportwagon
6.0 litre Auto.. (Yeah i went for the Auto)
    Lowered by the Dealership
20" DTM's supplied by the Dealership
    Otherwise she's stock standard.
No plans for mods, maybe some roof racks..

Anyway let me know what you guys think..
I've only had it for 2 days so I'll give you my feedback once ive had a chance to put it through a little serious driving..

Very nice mate. And there's nothing wrong with it being an auto mate, it's about what's better for you & what you prefer. It took me an hour and a half to get from Concord West to Stanmore this morning with stop start traffic, I would have killed for an auto!

Yeah, I got it from sutherland....
Drives really well and im happy with the choice of swapping it from the X5..
I liked the wheels over the standard redline so Im now happy to keep it stock from an engine mod point of view.

Yes, I thought the it looked familiar. I came very close to buying that car even though I have taken a vow to never approach that dealer ever again after some bad personal experiences.
Anyways it came down to economics and another dealer beat them to the winning mark.
The DTM wheels are a nice sale pitch for the dealers as the standard G8 polished rims are ugly IMO.
All ya need is some darker tint and it "Hi-ho silver" away...
