Flip key broken already.

Hey everyone
Well my flip key broke yesterday it had been slowly getting worse for a while. The button to flip the key does not work anymore and the key was stuck in so i had to pry the key out and now it go back in anymore.
Just wanted to know if anyone has had this and tried to get a new key under warranty

yeah i've had this happen as i'm constantly flicking it in and out when i've got it in my hand + dropping it and the like. i took it in and they replaced the actual key part under warranty, not the whole remote. works fine now

To easy mate im heading down there soon to go see them.

should be covered under warranty me thinks. did you get it brand new with car, or a separate purchase later? because that'll have some bearing on whether the car warranty will cover it, or whether its a more limited parts waranty.
