Place your fingers underneath the grill on the side that is closest to the front window and apply upword force and the cover lift off, then you'll need a srewdriver to remove two screws from the speaker, then just pull the speaker out.

    certainly.

go to the top right of your screen and click 'advanced search'.

then type in 'speakers' and select the 've' section.
and hey presto.... 50,000 ####ing threads about speakers!

or if that's too hard for you, look at the very first thread at the top of the page ABOUT SPEAKERS!!!!
your exact question was asked in there too.

sorry to give you a serve, but ffs.... newbies that are happy to waste our time without bothering to waste theirs doing a quick search, annoy me.... lots.

hope your 2nd post is better.

    why the whinge?
    people like me annoy you?

    *sigh.

I 'whinge' because I frequent this forum a lot, contribute useful information as much as I can and dont like the idea of seeing 50 threads with the exact same topic. It equates to filling the forum with trash, spam, useless data. I 'whinge' because there is a neverending stream of people who sign up to this forum and ask a question that doesnt need to be asked because its already been answered. These people don't read the rules before signing up. Those rules are there for a good purpose, and they are breaking them because they are too damn lazy to search for the answer themselves. They are leaches that sign up to ask a stupid question, and never come back to contribute in any other way. And it's those people that ANNOY ME. They are prepared to waste other peoples time because they are too lazy and selfish to potentially waste theirs. And I'll continue to take time busting those that do it... because if no one speaks up the quality of the forum drops.

If that annoys you, tough shit. You're here for a reason yourself.... its a damn good forum, and I want to keep it that way. How about you contribute something useful yourself, instead of defending those that are breaking forum rules. Or are you just trolling because you have nothing better to do?

    /end rant

I can't find the 've' section option on the advanced search page... So I searched for "ve speakers" and still found f-all. Your vague search recommendation did not help at all.

Thanks HUX90 for the useful reply.

I think you've both missed the point.... there is NO NEED TO SEARCH.
The very first thread of the VE section (the one we are in), is a sticky dedicated to speakers in our cars.
This was my initial problem with this pointless thread (and many others created with exact same topic).
Yes I jumped on the OP a little hard, but ffs.... look first its right there at the very top of the page for this very reason!

    /no more from me here
