Air con noises?

hey,

not too sure if this is an issue, i've searched for this on google and cant find a thing.

when i turn my air conditioning on, the car makes a whiney noise ?? it gets worse when i put my foot down and when i turn it off the noise completely goes away..

anyone else have this issue? if so how do i fix it?

Mine had the same thing . But with a small rattle as well . It turned out to be the air con compressor . Had it fixed under warranty about three months ago .

Cheers mate, might look in to that.. A mechanic friend of mine said it might be the belt.. not too sure.. mine hasnt got a rattle.. hmm.

+1 a/c compressor internal noise OR incorrect gas pressures

Mine was a compressor bearing. It was replaced under warranty.

My compressor spat the bearing but it was because the shop put on the wrong sized belt on by the time I heard the noise it was to late.

My noise has Gone now I think because my battery was flogged it wasn't getting enough power, since I've replaced the battery it hasn't made the noise.
