Ve ssv remote problem wont unlock help please!!

hey guy i own a 07 ve ssv had it for 4 months no probs at all. was driving it today went to a mates place then as soon as i went to leave the remote key wont work any ideas what it is? tried everything the car wont respond to anything i press. didnt drop the key or anything like that. please help!

probably the battery has died in it does the car still start and unlock if you use the key in the door if not it may be a problem with the immobilizer but id check battery first

the car wont unlock at all even with the key in the door! otherwise i would check the battery. anybody else had this prob? and is there another option to open the car without ruining anything

I had this very issue the other day except my car wasn't locked luckily. Got a flat battery and nothing would work :|
You should be able to get into your car with the key tho?

Im confused?? the key should unlock the door even with the remote batt dead and even with the batt in the car dead?? when u use the key to unlock the car it manualy it doesnt use power, iv disconneted my batt a few times when im away on holidays for a few months and lock the car completly disconected
