VE becomes a VF in 2013

Have you read the May edition of Wheels Magazine? They ran an article on the new VF Commodore due for release in 2013. All the usual upgrades such as better fuel consumption, a smaller V8 with the same or better output, lighter, more agile and a Turbo diesel. Sounds like the model name is also under threat. Could this be the last model of commodore. I can only hope they get the IQ system worked out by 2018 otherwise the headup display will be next to useless.

Hope they get rid of the integrated headunit (I know they wont).... sucks arse not being able to put in a custom head unit.

I think you will find the head unit will become more integrated into the car design rather than less. The other thread on the subject is here:VF Commodore locked in
