Default Check Engine warning after new spark plugs and Mace engineering Manifold insluator

    Hey
Just recently i installed new sparks and a manifold insulator but im getting the check engine light.. The car sounds normal, it actually runs alot smoother and a deffinite torque increase.. It a stock ve Omega S1.. I'm not to sure if i have to go to a tuner to remove the error code or i did something wrong ???
    Has anyone had this problem....

Ps, the spark plugs are NGK platinums and the space between the electrode and spark have been adjusted for the engine aswell...

Back again only an hour later.. I started my car and i noticed on the dash the check engine light has turned off.. I Guess the ecu was just tuning itself for the extra air flow from insulator.. Correct me if im wrong.. Cheers.

I know there were issues with TPS (throttle position sensors) when you removed the TB from the L98, LS2, to clean or do modifications, such as different intake manifolds.

Note sure if its the same for the V6? It may have just needed to relearn. Monitor it and see how it goes other wise get it looked at..

    Cheers

you probably unplugged something while the ignition was on
the code is "open circuit ****part**** "
after three or so igntion cycles without the fault
the code is stored as a history code and for some codes the light is then turned off
like for... evap purge solenoid rh top of inlet manifold for e.g.
dont worry about it unless the light comes back on~!

I installed the insulator last Friday and didn't have any problems apart from it idling at 1000revs at the start for 2mins, which is normal for cold conditions.
