VE SS - Suspension Lowering

Hi,

I am keen to look at lowering my VE SSV.
I looked into the coilovers but they are way over my budget.

Has anyone tried changing the coils professionally?
Was there any dramas with this being done?

Can't find anything there on ve lowering with coil alterations which is why i am askin...

If you mean changing the springs there are numerous topics on this forum covering that topic.
Basically just buy new progressive rate springs like King Springs SL, SSL, or SSSL, and if lowering by a decent amount get new struts/shocks like monroe GT sport.
Lots of FAQ's are available on the kings and monroe websites. Same kinda deal with pedders.

If by coil alterations you mean compressing the stock springs I wouldn't bother.
