Trouble starting calais v

Hi all, Been having trouble starting my ve, replaced battery but still same problem, starter motor seems ok, car taken to auto electrician but said everything was working fine. Sometimes will start with no ploblems, then sometimes will get that click sound, but wont start until l get a jump start Any ideas appreciated.

sounds like starter motor is faulty. not always a easy pick up for a auto elec. but a good one should of picked this up. that clicking sound your hearing is actually the solenoid sticking. can be common in starter motors. and doesn't always happen. just random i use a good auto elec and he does all our company trucks mack kenworth. and is very good at his work. he also is called in to do all major work on Mack and Kenworth dealers the guy you need to ask for is Brad. and he works for Fountain Gate Auto Electrics contact him on 9705 1181 am sure he can help you with what u need.

Thanks SV6, actually, at first thought it was the battery,got that replaced, then same problem happened. If it is the starter l thought it wouldnt start at all even when jump started. will have the starter looked at anyway thanx again.
