Default Single 3inch on SV6 SIDI

Mate of mine got a new exhaust system for his Sv6 its a single 3inch system from the cats back with like a 2 into one collector and runs down the centre and then onto the right side with a 3inch tip . Hes got a tip and a muffler mocked up on the other side so it looks good from the back and it actually sounds pretty good. Possibly one of the best systems ive heard so far. Not at all Skyline ish and he says it performs really well.

Yep in effect I think this may reduce the overall diameter of the system as compared to stock. Are there any mufflers in it at all?

Yeah its got mufflers , but no i dont think a single 3 inch is to small , i used to have a VT S pack the 3.8 Supercharged model and that had a single 3 inch and that has 220rwkw

if it's smaller than stock combined... In my opinion it's too small, as Holden have engineered the exhaust's on these cars to be almost perfect (bar the mufflers)

You can't think of it that way single pipe velocity is totally different to dual pipes, and I doubt holden have engineered anything to be perfect all they care about is the cheaper it costs - the more $$ they make
thats why we have aftermarket parts
