ok, i'm fairly certain that the globes are blown but ive been too lazy to go out into the rain and freezing cold to check the fuses and globes the last couple of days
I noticed they heavily faded about a week ago, in the sense that the beam was much weaker than usual, and a couple of days ago i had no light at all, due to this am i correct for assuming that the globe has blown, if a fuse was blown then it would not have been a gradual process and more of a "lights working, now they don't" situation
this surprises me as i changed the globes to phillips 12V 55W H7 blue vision light globes about 7 months ago
in saying that i do have an ex Telstra fleet car which means that Headlights are on 100% of driving time and are unable to be turned off unless i take my car to an auto-electrician to get the switch fixed
i could go out and check, but its been shit weather the last two days in melbourne
can anybody shed some light? (pun intended)![]()
ahhh thats a good point....the fading strikes me as odd though...
i sure hope its a fuse coz i can think of better ways to spend my money than replacing head light globes
