    Default SV6 Rims on Omega

    Hi Guys,

Looking to make a few mods to my Omega Commodore... Can get a good set of SV6 Series 2 18s on the cheap... Anyone seen this done? Wondering how it will look without the SV6 bodykit... Looking to upgrade the rims on the cheap and this looks the best option..

    Cheers

You would probably want to lower it a little just to match the look, but yep the sv6 rims are a good starting point.

They look alright allthough i would of thought there would be more gap between the wheels and the guards as they aren't lowered.

Didn't realise this old thread got dug up. I ended up going ahead with this. I haven't lowered it yet, but will be the next on the list of things to do.

When I bought it it was a demo with 1000km on the clock and the bonnet protector was on there. I have noticed that there are some haters on here though. I've kept an eye on it, pulling it off every 4 weeks or so and not seen any damage so far, and the car is now just over 12 months old...

Hi, just to give you an idea of the ride height. This is my Berlina but with SSV rims and king spring super lows. Yes I do have calais tail lights on a Berlina and I like it.

Woodsy, what is the difference in your ride, comparing 16" with 18" ?
    I am considering a similar change ...

Barely notice the change in ride to be honest. Definitely not worth worrying about in my opinion.

WOODSY: Thankyou for that; I'll save my money and that'll be nearly enough for another trip "down south"
