Default Help to get 350rwkw ve ss series 2

Hi needing advice on what cam specs to use on a 6lt ve to get approx 340-350rwkw, I have a 1 3/4 full ss di fillipo exaust and a orrsom otr, 25% underpulley ,valve springs, 3.70 diff and a small comp cam 118/224 sorry don't know the lift.I got 294rwkw on mainline dyno. Also I really would like to avoid a high stall, I only drive the car on weekends and special occassions. Do I need head work etc, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

if u changed the cam to a 28/32 or a 32/34 u will get around 340 - 350rkw but i think a stall would be needed as there a decent cam

the VE series 2 (L77) has collapsible lifters to suit the DOD/AFM, yes even the manuals! (unlike series 1 where the manuals were L98 and autos L76)
so you should definately replace them with something stronger if youre going to push it, i know someone whose lifters gave out at 330rwkw (series 2 manual),
I was recommended to change lifters with ANY cam change on the series 2 by the workshop I went through...

and yes Wog is correct, anything more than you have now will likely require a stall convertor

why dont you try a retune with E85, easy 10-20rwkw there!

thanks for the info , it is a L77 and i will get rid of all the dod, at this stage e85 is hard to get,on the first tune it had 312rwkw , but it was running 18.97 rich and nearly choked me to death, chose another tuner and he said the previous tuner had a disney dyno and also that he smelt the richness from a long way. he tuned it and it had better manners but i lost the power.

    LOTS!!!!!!!!!!!
239/347 comp cam, double springs milled and ported heads Fast 102 LSXR(ported) 102 nick williams t/b flycut pistons 65lb injectores twin ASE fuel pump and E85 fuel. and a big arse clutch to hold it.

That is about 360 at the wheels on a mainline. In an auto you'll be pushing it. As stated a blower would get you there but N/A is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!
