track stripes

was wondering if anyone has put the stripes on themselves if how hard is it,or would it better to get a proffesional to do it,also what attahes them to the vehicle is it like a proper sticker. thanx in advance

racing stripes? on an sv6? hmm.... not my cup of tea, but I know you didnt ask for opinions so wont say anymore on that .

definitely better to get a professional to do it. with other decals you might try and do it yourself, but with stripes you need those lines dead even otherwise they'll look crap.

vinyl decals have been discussed before in this section- I think Tinsnips had a very popular thread discussing vinyl decals, costs, opinions etc. Have a look through this section. It wasnt about racing stripes per say, but might give you a good starting point.
