Default HSV E3 Maloo Extractors Question

    G'day,

Quick question regarding the stock HSV extractors from a E3 Maloo, the old man is getting one with a Walkinshaw supercharger 3" bimodal Bilstines etc, and he asked if the stock extractors would fit up to my Calais. Not entirely sure was my response, anyone had any experience in this? would any performance gains be evident from the Swap, more free flowing etc?

They'll fit - and give a mild power increase. Definitely worth it if they're free! They are certainly better flowing than the stock manifolds you have on there now.

+1 As TinSnips said... As long as the HSV cats are part of change. If you use your existing cats they will need to have the engine pipe (the bit that connects to the current cast iron header) modified. The modification is they will need to be shortened to fit up to the HSV headers (tube type). See picture below.

If you get the factory cat with it, it will match up to the rest of your factory cat back exhaust.

    Cheers
    Phil

they will fit just fine as long as you use the HSV cats or you will have to modify the header pipe connector and thats a pain in the a**e unless your good at welding. you will get a moderate gain from them and are a good cheap upgrade from standard.
