Default Good Gains from Maf Tune

    Hi Guys & Girls,

Just had my some minor works done to my SS and produced a 44rwkw gain, the car has now 272rwkw or 365rwhp in the old school. Can't wait to take it out to Test n Tune Wednesday week, would be tonight but State of Origin.

    Mods Done:

    VCM OTR CAI
    HSV Headers
    Hi Flow Cats Euro 4 - 200's
    2.5" X-Force
    And Maf Tune

I will put a cam in it in about 6 months and will then get a Mafless tune and it should produce 310 + rwkw.

You will love the difference in the way the car drives after a tune, it is amazing, the power the dyno says is nothing compared to how it feels IMO

272rwkw is a pretty good gain just from those mods. manual obviously? who done your tune? was it a mainline dyno or a dyno dynamics dyno?
im out of my mind at the moment...please leave a message

I had my series 2 exhaust OTR & tune 250rwkw, I was told by a very reputable workshop that:

the series 2 manual (L77) will make about 10-15kw less than a series 1 manual (L98) because it has a different cam and lifter setup for the AFM/DOD (yes, even though manuals dont have the AFM/DOD, they have the same internals now as the autos, which sucks)
