From the mods you have it sounds about right, but it also depends on the dyno. One will give you one figure, then the next one will give you a totally different one.

Mate i only made 248rkw with a vcm otr, mafless tune, full 3" and manual, acording to oztrack they have had cars get up in the 280rkw zone from them mods, they checked my tune and its pretty much just a basic tweak of the fuel map(what a waste of 1500 for a mafless tune), so he is doing a full retune for me, hoefully pull some better numbers then and better fuel eco too

    2008 SSV - A6 - L98 - Pacemaker 1 3/4" headers, Hi-flow cats, 2.5" exhaust, OTR and custom mafless dyno tune = 257rwkw.

According to a few other I've spoken to, the variance in power for similar mods (taking into account whether it's a A6 or M6) is due not only to the tune, but also the year / period it was built in. I've been told that since since the VE's introduction, they have sourced cams from three different suppliers during 2006-2009), thus each cam has slightly different specs thus given more or less kw's than the one prior. Base line rwkw for the L98 VE's has been as low at the high 190's into the high 220's. Thus I think this cam story holds some water.

Would be interested to test this theory by seeing rwkw for basic zort, OTR and tune mods and the year build to see if their is some truth in this.

So if you have the basic bolt on mods only as noted above note the following:

    2008 (auto or man) XXXrwkw

    Cheers

Give some results I've seen outside of this forum (mates rides) , I have this feeling that 2007 makes will have the higher rwkw's. Will be interesting to see how this pans out over the coming days.

It seems you should get between 250 and 260 with the basic mods. Also of note there will probably be a few Kw here and there depending on brands used, who tuned your car and if it was built on a Friday. I would be suprised to see anything more than 265 - 270.

Table is a bit pointless in my opinon, interesting sure, but too many variables, as shown by the fact the manual made a heap less than the two autos, to compare if there are any actual differences between year models it would have to be same dyno, same day, same mods
