spring "strut top" question

Hey guys, just wanted to know if the "strut tops" of stock VE suspension and those on the monroe shortened shocks can be interchanged??

If at all possible let me know

honestly not sure... the guy I was talking to said he had monroe shocks and kingsprings, then replaced it with coilover suspension but kept the strut tops off the monroes... so not sure if i'll need to buy new ones or what.

The strut tops on the standard struts are all the same from VR-VE.
