am thinking of getting the led tail lights and halo for my SV6. but not sure if anyone had any problems with them. for example the tail lights what happens if you blow a led. or the same with the halo. and are the halo hard to install..or maybe is there someone in melbourne who does install the halo lights. can anyone offer advice on these.

Dont know bout the LED but the halos..... abit of a bitch to do urself,so pros would be the way.

but what u have to do is take out your headlights and remove all the lights and cables and meltable plastic components such as the water seal caps and gaskets. then get an oven chuck em in for about 10-15 minutes after that get a set of gloves or some thing heatproof. and open them up with a screwdriver or a flat tool , then install the halos and wire them through, heat up the sealant glue or buy some new glue and glue everyting togeather then just wire everything back up

The halo lights would get you a defect in about 20 minutes unless you have the option of having a different coloured light.

Tail lights look a little Audi ish not a big fan, I like the Orales they look like the BMW angel eyes +1 and look better than the attempt HSV has made on the E2 and E3.

The tail lights are disgusting, makes the car look cheap, just go get the SSV tail lights...

Btw the halo lights, do they just go on the stock SV6 lights or do you have to buy the SSV? also with the DRL lights (DRLLITES VE Lites Day Running Lites ) can u put the halo on them aswell or no?

    Hussy.

Thats a lot of money for the Halos.
I mean Jeeebus, thats almost the cost of a Genuine projector headlight.

I dont know if anyone has tried baking ther headlights before, I have tried this twice. (Not for VE Headlamps, but for EF Falcon).

    My failure rate was 50%.
At $200 for the Halos, and at a failure rate of %50 for Projector headlamps, it could be a VERY expensive exercise !!!!

If you want projector headlights, buy the proper ones from Holden or a car that has them to start with.

If you want BMW headlights, buy a BMW.

Well considering your driving lights are mounted in the front bumper and these go around your low beams I'd say it's a yes.
