Hey guys Just need your help!

So i have a VE ATOMIC GREEN SV6 with black stripes, black rims , black tint. And i was just wondering a few opinons on the VE FRONT LIP? the black one

Do you think it looks good ? or do you think it looks bad , also do you think it will look good with my car

One last thing , does it just clip on the current front bumper. . . ?

( Just for those you dont know what im talking for , FireSport Classifieds: VE SS SV6 genuine front lip kit Price drop )

    Cheers.

Have to say I'm not a fan of it. The fact that it is black and is on the lower edge of the lip, to me it just makes the front bar look short. I'm fine with black highlights on cars, I just think they shouldn't be on the lower edges as they get lost.

but yes, it fits over the current bar.

    awww.. cup of concrete?

Jokes... would look great though with a black stripe!

Visually, I just find the lip kits get lost. They don't look bad, you just can't see them quickly - so the bar looks shorter. Would look better if it didn't cover the entire lower edge of the bar - maybe just the middle section? Not sure.

it comes in 4 pieces, so u can just fit the upper and lower middle pieces.
mine was more to take the scrapes than for look, although i dont think it looks bad, a few scrapes on the lip, looks alot better than chunks of paint taken off :P

and it doesnt just clip on Hussy, it has double sided tape and a few screws, so be sure u want it on, otherwise it will be a pain to get off :P

Very true. Nismo has a lip protector that just sits underneath the bar, rather than being a visual element. It's allegedly universal fit (ie flexible) for a number or different nissan models, so I'm trying to get my hands on one to see if I can trim it to fit under mine. Will test it out with just the trim tape before screwing it on though. Haven't found any locally as yet. I think there are a couple of makes with them, but Nismo is the only one I've found that's available without a front bar!

Can't say I own a VE so I haven't tried it on my own car....
But in terms of what I've seen on the forum I'm a massive fan.
Reminds me of a VY SS front.

    will do.

You may be alright - hopefully that lip has done it's job and there's no damage under it - aside from the mounting holes, obviously.

Like what i did with mine. Just the 2 middle parts. Otherwise the front looks really high.

Ive seen them on a what VE with gts black rims, black stripes on top of the car and at buttom , he had a black sentor rear spoiler and i thought it looked mad so i was thinking of going one for mine.

I really dont know how it would look so im sort of scared, if anyone knows or has a picture of a VE GREEN WITH BLACK STRIPES AND BLACK RIMS AND THE BLACK LIP would be great if i could see it.

    Thanks guys.

    Hussy.

To pull any kind of black accents off, I also think it needs to be carried through the car - particularly on white. At the back, there's the rear bar insert to offset it, but the sides need something - even if it's just a sill strip down the lower edge of the doors (not side skirts).

    A hint??? Of course not!

The hint would be to remove the two outside sections of the guard

???? wft???? If you don't really like it then why bother buying it in the first place??? IMO it's just another piece of body work to get stuck on gutters and the like when parking.
