MAF or MAFless tunes? ve ssv 2007

hey everyone

im about to start buying some mods- vcm otr- 4-1 pacemaker headers- hi flow cats

now im wondering, do i go the MAF or MAFless tune, to be honest, i dont know much about tunes.

give some pros and cons about both, by the way im not looking to take my car to the track or to flog the shit out of it, so that extra 10kw with the MAFless doesnt bother me.

Mafless is illegal, maf isn't, the end.besides a little more power that's the other main difference ( from what I've read on here so far)

iv had both tunes on my car.
heaps better throttle response and more power. mafles tune is the way to go

with more basic (exhaust, airbox/OTR) mods, a GOOD tuner wont see a difference between MAF and MAFless (other than the legality) in power or throttle response!
once you start playing with cams & internals though the MAFless is the way to go!

ok then cheers, how do tunes become out of tune? once i get my mods on and it tuned, i dont want to keep retuning it. because i dont live near a tune shop,

Actually in Victoria at least, BOTH are illegal and both will void any GM Drivetrain warranty everywhere. I'd suspect that it stands for most/all other states too. That said - I'd go cam & mafless myself. I'm looking into it for the E3 right now
