hey people

looking at buy some engine oil for my car, i know there is a thread about this already, but i want to know something else.

in the book, it says SAE 5w30 or 10w30, i live up north of WA were it is always hot or warm, i rang a performance shop and they said use 10w40, NOW im just wondering if i can actually go the CASTROL EDGE 10w60? keep in mind its hot up here and yeah, its a ve ssv 2007.

post up exaclty what VISCOSITY oil you use and what brand?

also, if anyone has a auto6 ss, tell me what tranny oil you use? if you know

I'm no expert but castrol edge sport 10w60 works great for high temperatures. I use it in my vz SS 6 Litre and used it in my old VY v6.

And I think auto trans use dexron |||. Same as power steering fluid.

Most VE's use Dexron 6 in auto's and steering ( according to Holden marketing ) but check your owners handbook !!
