Maf/Mafless?

Hey guys.

Just been reading around and ive read many things about Maf tune and Mafless tune.

WHAT ON EARTH IS A MAF TUNE AND WHAT IS MATHLESS TUNE. lol its pissing me off

you can't get a mafless tune for your V6 anyway, doubt they will be available for the alloytecs ever. Wouldn't worry about it lol, as for what it is? just google MAF

Oh true, didnt know that :S lol On your sv6, how much extra kw did you get with the mace tune?

MAF = Mass Air flow - A device that sit's between your throttle body and the air intake pipe that measures the air flow into your engine and adjust the fuel accordingly / automatically.

You can disconnect this device and SET the mixture to be at a certain level... on a V6 completely useless, on a V8 you can get better performance and fuel consumption.

peak torque increased by about 8rwkw from memory, but actual gains over the whole spectrum were about 10%, torque picked up like 23 rwnm of max torque. and about 10-15% overall.

If yours is the SIDI, probably get better gains as u have a better motor.
