No speedo or Tacho

Hi all a guy at work asked me today about this problem. He has a VE SS and his speedo and tacho just stopped working he just gets a blank screen any ideas any-one cheers dazza

I know someone who had the same problem he took it to holden and they pressed a few buttons on his dash and everything started working again.

Maybe disconnect the battery and try to reset the computer?

just in case this happens to anyone else, near the light buttons above your head there are it a longer button the same colour as your roof
This button turns off all interior lights, dims the speedo and display on the dash.

If you leave the car with this button still on, when locking your car with the remote the indicators will not flash. true story.

That's the cop option - ex police cars have them fitted (presumably current police cars have them also)

The Cop Mod turns everything off
The otherway turns off 99% of things. Speedo, Center LCD, and Tacho still stay on (also the hazard lights in the S2)

And yes.. Tacho can be configured to be on or off...
