Can you disable startup chime?

Anal question, but the chime just goes for too long. Has anyone had success with turning it off?

and while we are at it, the beep/chime for when you go into reverse and the camera comes on.... bloody annoying when it goes off and little one has only just dropped off in the back and wakes up .

By the chime are you refering to the one where; If you do not have your seatbelt on and start the car you get the 4 or so cimes?.. If this is the case there is a thread on this already.

Go to Post 64 on page 3. for the fix. Getting the chime turned off by Holden using TECH2 will be near impossible as its (I think) and ADR requirement.

Either put your seatbelt on when starting or push and hold the buckle release button until all the usual start up lights disappear.
