VE SV6 Drag time

Hey guys

Thought i might let who ever is interested that i did a 14.8 on my second ever run in my MY09 Auto Sv6 on wednesday night at WSID, she had a little more in her but couldnt get the start right.

Currently the list of mods are
Airhammer intake
CPR6
Pacemaker Extractors and 2.25 catback

Probably can get the thing down to a 14.6 that would be about it with those mods, i did this before the tune, 3.45 diff and extractors are installed in august.

I was really suprised with the time i didnt even think i would crack the 15s.

"Supposedly" 14.6 is what they got out of 3.6l SIDI with the 6-speed auto in motormag. I think thats a pretty good time for the 195!! Does the CPR6 make a huge difference?

I have a 2010 SV6 i have done a 14.3 with no passenger seat , no spare tyre , no tonneu cover and some semi used MT slicks . I have a Manual ute with headers , Cai and Maloo mufflers. Mine wont go no faster than that its a tricky car to launch being a manual and not having tonnes of torque or a great clutch .

Well without a tune up to 4000 rpm its barely noticeable, after 4000 to the the redline you can really feel the difference puts you back in you seat a little more. Cant wait for the tune it will double the difference in the high rpm and greatly increase power down low.

thats a pretty good time, after im done with the rest of the mods planned i hope to crack the 13's fingers crossed.

what was the top speed reached if you know mate? i dont know alot about 1/4 mile times but 14s not that bad for pretty stock v6 i think.

The receipt says 95mp/h, i rekon its a fantastic time for a v6 was over the moon when i saw the results.

so about 160kph, fairly quick...bout a 8 second to 100 then 6 more to 160

Just thought i might update people on this thread even though its a little old, car now runs 14.2, with the 3.45 diff gears. the 195 engines might be able to crack a 13 without FI, with some semi slicks and cams once they are released.

goodwork enforcer, nice results for NA. Probably get 13's on a good day with a ripshift and slicks?
