Bah that Pontiac front was the worst thing Holden did to the VE IMO.

i had the option when i got my ute but decided against it, it's ok sort of, it would look better with a deeper more pronounced chin spoiler like the standard ss/sv6 unit on the ser 1- I.M.O
im out of my mind at the moment...please leave a message

"excess stock for certain reasons". Those reasons are that Pontiac went under in the US so Holden, who could have put a better front end on our own cars, chose to give the yanks a better front end and now can't sell them so they flog them to us as though they are doing us a favor!
That said, I love them and if I had the $$ I would buy one today!

Excess stock coz no one wants to buy them...they've been an option in the VEs for a while.

To think, I sold the Pontiac front end of my G8 GT for $400.00 US when I converted it over to the Holden VE front end. It cost me a pretty penny importing those Holden parts from Australia to Virginia, USA!

Thats not it at all...Its the same as most of you putting Chev badges on your cars. Only they are doing it properly by transforming a car back to what it should be - not transforming a car to something it's not!
