First one isn't suitable - second ones are correct.

There are heaps of different ones you could go for as well. Berklee, xforce, OPG, Hurricane, Manta, etc - all have mufflers that will bolt straight up to a standard SS system. Just trawl through youtube and find some you like the sound of and run with those.

Non-sidi won't be much different - not sure about the sidi though, with it's weird exhaust manifold.

I've got the Redback mufflers on my SV6 and they are pretty good. From my research they're the best ones you'll get for a V6. I haven't heard much of it from outside the car, but the bit that I have heard they sound very good (considering it's a V6 and the price).

I tried some Lukey's first off and they weren't that great, seemed to make noises at all the wrong times.

However, the Redbacks do have a bit of a drone at times, especially going up hills. They're much better than going for a 2.5" system though

before i replace my omega's stockish system (removed rear muffler, made up 2.25" straight pipe) could someone help me. i get a really mettallic ring at 1800rpm, wondering whether it could be heat shields vibrating, stuffed cat, or something more sinister??

Yeah if you want the Redbacks the second link you posted up is correct. I just got them from a local exhaust place, about 450 fitted.
