i got a few questions about some problems in my VE

hey there, im just noticing a few problems and I'm wondering if i can get some help to resolve this issue.

1) At the moment, when ever i turn on the heater on, my computer tells me it needs service soon, but when i turn it on cold it disappears. I'm assuming that it has something to do with the heater HA HA. has anyone had this problem before?

2) maybe a month or 2 ago i took my car in for a warranty replacement for my harmonic balancer because it is wobbly. fail to check their work, i assume that they have fixed the problem but when i checked my engine bay yesterday i notice the balancer is wobbly again. Holden service manager told me that the harmonic balancer in the VE's weren't made the best and there fore it was a manufacturer defect or something what ever. is there an alternative replacement to this ? no point going back there again and fixing it if its going to have the same problem.

3) my auxiliary port in the front for some reason when i plug it in i can only hear the left hand side speakers and not the right. and yes i did check the balancer and its on the center. it didn't happen to me before. what can i do ?

4) in the owners manual, its got a section called overdrive or overspeed or what ever it is. basically its for the speed alert. how can i get that option on my SS ? there is no section for me to select it. thanks

Hi mate in terms of the heater issue, sounds like there is a problem with the aircon sys. so prob have to take it in especially if it is still under warranty.
I also had my harmonic balancer replaced and its still ok atm, however i know of atleast 2 guys on here that have had 2 replaced before they got it sorted, so i would stick with that one and get them to do it again. Not sure on your auxiliary issue but sounds like a warranty issue again and as for the overdrive option as far as im aware it should be in your standard features in your menu on your screen. I had it there on both my SV6 and now SS.

For your 2nd question, if it's under warranty just take it back to Holden again. (i had 2 rear passenger hubs replaced within 2 weeks ><.
If your not worried about warranty, try searching an under-drive pulley kit.

Also your speed alert problem, mine is also the same as cruzer.
