    Default ve omega - calais?

First things first. If i can get my hand on a full calais bodykit (front bar, rear bar and side skirts) i know the tail lights need to be changed but what else will need to be changed to fit eg. headlights, bonnet, boot.

basically does everything need changing or just the kit and tail lights?

would probably be easier and cheaper to sell your Omega and buy a calais... they are pretty similar in price (well when I bought mine they were), plus you get the interior/FE2/ display unit etc

they come only in a V8 i believe, and the kit is cheap if it will work... if it doesnt wasnt all to bothered would just be nice.

as long as it's a series 1 kit, the headlights should be fine. Grille could be an issue - you'll probably need a calais one. Also a bonnet garnish.

yeah series 1 kit, i thought so. bonnet garnish being the chrome strip at the front? And i think the grille comes with it but yeah i figured that would be different. The bonnet and boot lid is what worried me.

umm, correct me if I'm wrong, but only the fronts are interchangable right? I always thought the berlina and calais shared kits whilst the omega - sv6 - ss shared kits.

yeah I'm fairly certain there's no different metal on the calais - ie bootlid and bonnet should be the same.

and yes - the garnish is the chrome strip - paint it black though - you know you should!

I'm pretty sure that's due to the shape of the rear lights - you can change both the lights and the bar, but not just the bar OR the lights.

I normally agree with you tinny, but in this case I couldn't disagree more!

If I win tattslotto twice, I'd replace every part with a chrome replica!... Then obviously I'd sell the car or give it away because it would look horrid, BUT my point is... Chrome = good, in moderation

Chrome goes well with certain colours, and not so well with others... for example mine is light blue, and chrome wheels, tint, trim etc isn't the go! Some black 20's and black trim would look much better

Chrome looks nice on luxury models like Calais, Caprice but is a definite failure on sports models(ie: Redline edition) and chrome wheels look pretty crap 99% of the time.
