Hi All,
Think i may of seen it posted before but just incase...
If you want to increase the bass in your "premium" () sound system then behind the battery to the side is the amp control.
Just pull down your boot lining, and in mine, the amp nob is at the bottom, so reach down and across and you'll feel it. It always clicks back to the middle so don't worry that you can't see it.
Have fun
Thanks man, will give that a tweak tonight. I ended up lining everything with dynamat and and mounting a pre-amp with mid and bass boost inder the dash. The system does doof at 148db like the one I heard a couple of weeks ago but it certainly has given me some bass boost for that 70's classic rock I love so much.
I find adjusting the bass to +2 or more in the EQ is overkill and sounds crap. Does this improve the SQ or just make it louder?
Thanks, Will give it a shot when/if i get my car back.

Here's a photo. The gain control is a bugger to access. Might be easier to undo the screws holding the unit in place and take it out.
This is off the top of my head so i may miss a step:
1. take the floor out of boot.
2. the panel where the boot lock is there is a couple of cargo net hooks there...unscrew then and it literally lifts out...its just clips
3. then on the left side where the battery is there are some colour coded plugs/clips pull them out by getting either the two pronge fork shape tool or a flat blade screw driver between the carpet and clip and pry it off...
4. peel back the side panel carpet and now its the fun task of crawling in and turning the gains up
