    Default Sabre alloys

Does anyone have holden sabre alloys on their VE, only found them today on the holden website and think they would look good painted black or maybe white on my wagon, plus it says they clear all holden VE brakes, wonder if that includes brembos.

Yup, my redline came fitted with them from the dealer , definitly clear the Brembos on this model anyway. Toyed with the idea of getting them powder coated black but I think I'll leave em for now...
I prefer to refer to them as 'wagon wheels' though

Not the best pic but only one I really have... need to take more :/ Took this a few days before I picked it up a few months ago while it was out the front of the dealers.

Hey they're not bad for Holden genuines.

They'd be sexy in black on that wagon, Gambel!

hsv_r8, they look real good on yours , what did you end up doing with your originals? I toyed with the idea of getting the dealer to put the originals back on but the more I saw them the more I didn't like them and prefered the sabres.

I did not like the stock redline rims and the 20's looked much better. I have no idea what the dealer did with them.

I can say they are much easier to keep clean. My previous ride was a 07 R8 and those rims were pretty tricky to keep clean.

Wait? you went from a R8 to a SS - WHY?

Once u have a HSV, a holden is nothing, its like after owning a V8 and V6 is nothing. Do you miss the R8 at all? Regreat it at all? But then again they had the same motor. 6.0L

Nice question. Yes I do mis the HSV. It was a lease car and the new lease company was charging way too much for a new HSV. The next closest was Redline.
The ride is different that is for sure. The power delivery is different and the clutch is way heavier on the SSV. The biggest cost of owning the HSV was the brake replacement at 85000km. It cost me about 4500 dollars. not happy with the dealer, they did not mention that to me during the service. I am hoping that this one does not cost so much.

Yeah my cousin went from senator to a holden cv8 manaro and hated it coz it wasnt HSV and now drives a R8 lol

WOW 4500 is alot. im coming to my break replacement soon
SSV heavier :S strange, i would have thought HSV would have been heavier ohwelll...

And mate redline have BREMBO brakes soooooo i think itll cost you the same or just as close

    They are different motors.

And I'm not a big fan of the sabre wheels but those fluxus look alright.
