Hey, as i understand it the VE's have a voided rear subframe bush and from most suspension shops you can buy a void filler for these ...
Now my question is, Has anybody Done this? Did it noticably improve your ride? How much did it cost? Was it worth the cost?
I had the void bushes put in after I had the coilovers done.
I had the coilovers done and it transformed the car. Was told to go back after 1000k's to check tightening etc. It was here that I di the bushes. It transformed the car again. It felt like rear was nice and firm and well planted.
Think it cost me $250 fitted
After i had them put in the first thing i noticed was the rear end did not bounce around anywhere near as much. Makes for a much better ride. The rear end is firmer. Im happy i got it done.
Had other stuff done when i had these fitted but think it was around $300 for them fitted.
I had them installed and Tommos comments are pretty much the same as mine. I also had a heap of other stuff done at the same time so I can't comment on just the rear. Check my ride thread for more details (link below).
good to know ... might book it in then
yeah im looking at doing the same. do they stop axle tramp?
im out of my mind at the moment...please leave a message
I've had the Nolathane set of bushes sitting around my garage for about 6 months, I have been putting it off and off for ages. Having a steep driveway isn't helpinganyone done it themselves and time estimates?
If it helps i plan on lowering my SV6 myself so is it worth waiting untill i do that?

Im a true commy boy!!!
Cheers troy, i had a think about it. It seems that it'd be best to lower it than put it all back together and start from scratch so everything is back where it should be before i start. I was told by Red Ranger a bloke i used to work with actually that it's probably a days work. Either way i will have a stab.
