Help buying ve sv6

Looking to buy a used ve sv6 from a dealer, but my negotiating skills suck.
Have done research on current prices, redbook values etc. but would like to know what sort of price reduction others have got on advertised prices
Something along the lines of:
Vehicle Model/Year ?
Advertised Price ?
Purchased Price ?
Kms ?
I have been looking at cars up to $30k
Any other help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Well ive never bought a USED car BUTTT..

I DID GET A TRADE IN PRICE FOR MY CAR

2009 Holden Commodore Sv6 Sedan , supersports, black strips, and few other little extras ATOMIC GREEN COLOUR

Bought it for $38500

BOUT 60,000Ks

Holden offered me a trade in of $28,000

If its 30K plus, REALLY NOT WORTH IT. As the Thunder sv6 utes are only $35,000 with 19inch wheels, leather bucket seats, and sat nav.

Regular Sedan brand new would be bout $32,000 stock BRAND NEW

Check out carsales, both private and dealer, if you want to buy from a dealer, take the median price from private sellers and dealers eg
Private seller in your state us asking 25 and dealer is asking 30, k's and condition dependent I'd offer around 26. Dealers want to sell even more so now as it's end fin year. Always remember that you have to be comfortable buying it, don't let dealers tell you your getting a good deal if you feel your not. Walk away.
