    Default engine oil flush- service

    hey guys, just about to drain the oil out of the ls2 gen4 8.3L capasity of oil..

    so the plan is, drain the old oil, refill with cheap 10w40 helix ONLY 5L and a oil flush 350ml.. just seeing if i can run the engine for about 10-15mins with only about 5.5L of oil, in idle. i remember reading somewhere that is will be fine doing this? need an answer asap

    Yeah you will be fine with 5lt mate i did it last nite, it was enough didnt bring up the low oil light

    Dude, most engine flushers use KERO.

    You are just wasting your time and money using another engine oil with that much "flush", no matter what the grade!

    Then again, don't rely on this advice

    Just add the flush into the old oil.... Saves the $30 or so & does the same job
