Ve head unit

Hey guys.

Obviously everyone hates there SV6 head unit, just as many other people, i also dont wana put that uguly aftermarket one they made for the VEs

I was thinking, if i put the hsv/ssv head unit, the screen one, Blaupunkt, would it make any difference?

Also do they have GPS on it ?

No, the sat nav runs through a console in the glove box... if you want that be prepared to add another $2,500 + to the cost... and from what i hear, your better off with a $300 garmin.

Garmins and aftermarket GPS are better IMO cos they have camera alerts and are generally much clearer and understanding..... i love my garmin

am the same rather the tom tom. its much faster on recalculating routes than the Garmin i have both units Garmin 3790T and tom tom GO 1050 Australia the Garmin does look better than tom tom in car. much neater and i have it hooked direct into power. the tom tom is faster for routes and recalculating. but everyone to there own.

Yep $300 Tom Tom much better.

My car is a 60th Ann SSV and the original features included sat nav but at last minute they changed it to Sunroof. I'm so glad they did

Yep you'd have to option it on a SV6

Yeah, i optioned supersports, black stripes, window protectors and some other crap but FORGOT the sunroof ohwell wont make that mistake again
