VE Audio Buzz

Gday Guys,

had a quick search and couldn't find much.

Does anyone have any hints / tricks to remove or improve the buzzing that comes when you have something like a ipod in Aux and charging at the same time?

Can you change the Neg terminals or something?

i have the same issue, but rather than buzzing, it whistles with the throttle,
almost sounds better than these things Fake Turbo

Yeah, that is like mine on occasions. I have tried a in line filter from JayCar but only improved it around 10 - 15%

I kno in my sound system it was a bad earth going to the amp. Once I fixed the bad earth there was no more whine

I have the same problem but have you tried to charge your phone and listen through the head phones at home maybe it might be the iPhone/iPod, just a thought?

It happens in Mine also. Nothing a good overnight charge of the ipod/phone wont sort out if you are planning a decent drive.

Yeh I started a thread on this a couple of days ago. I've tried 3 different charger setups and no help. Someone suggested getting some resistors put on the alternator by a auto electrician.

resistors put on the alternator by a auto electrician. should fix the noise. common problem for some cars on audio. get your spark plug leads checked as well. i have had this problem on my current car and 3 past ones over the years. not a hard fix. but go to a good auto elec. dont let him fool u into a new alternator either. u can have resistors added to urs there is only 2 areas on a car u get wine noise when u rev it. alternator and spark plug leads.
