    Default Opinions VE berlina or Omega international

    I had a VE commodore 2006 94000 kms which was in an accident now ill be receiving 16500 to 18000.

    i dont feel like a omega again but prices are really good but i want mp3 cd hard to find in an omega. plus in my v series commodore had bluetooth installed which costed alot at the time

    a berlina has mp3 i think plus fog lights climate control 3 windows dash display reverse sensors and bluetooth standard for not that much extra

    calais are awesome to drive extra my dad has one and the v series with dvd etc but just out of my price range unless it has to much kms plus i dont like the rear light and the bulky front

    sv6 love it but hate the head unit it reminds me of my omega with a body kit and more power with red lights

    so all up i think i want a berlina whats ur opinions no V8s

    all i want is a mp3 with a calais feel but it also doesnt have that bulky front bar plus i have my ss induction and a few things like springs r8 20 inch wheels which were supposed to in my v series commodore subs and amps just need to buy speakers

    I just bought the missus a new Berlina international, leather seats and all the other crap. Got a sportwagon so came with reverse camera as well. great car so far. Traded in her old VY berlina wagon and the extras you get now days are miles ahead.

    I just offloaded my Berlina yesteday. It was a 2006 model, the first of the VE range. I found it to be quite nice. They're good for resale as well as they're considered to be more of a 'prestige' model.

    It has the reverse sensors, climate control and MP3 compatible CD stacker. Try to find one that doesn't have the woodgrain trim, it looks a little tacky.

    Don't the new Berlina's come with the 3.0 litre V6 instead of the 3.6 ?
    Something to consider

    I went from a 3.6 L VZ, to a 3.0 L SIDI. My impressions are:
    the VE is slightly less quick from a standing start - the VE is not slow at all, but the VZ was quicker;
    on the highway, overtaking - no difference - both are excellent; and
    the fuel economy and fuel range of the VE SIDI is vastly better.
