What is the procedure please (if there is one) to bring the oil pressure up after a Oil and filter change without the engine firing up (for L98)?
Previous cars I would have pulled the EFI fuse and then turned the engine over till the oil light goes out....I'm not seeing a EFI fuse under the bonnet.
with the lack of response Im guessing no one knows...or some people are going.. "Crikey should I be doing that?".
Im guessing the CAM is sitting in a nice bath of oil and not hanging dry at the top of the motor....maybe that's why you don't need to bring the oil pressure up first??
Appreciate any comments....
You never have to do that after a simple oil change...
The motor will gain oil pressure within a second of startup...
Cheers
