How to fix a cracked front bumber bar

Hi,

Last day i drive over a humb and my front bumber got a crack, i am looking for an easy/cheap fix for it, any advices, attached the pics

I checked with a bumber repair shop and they asked $550 for fixing it, I dont wanna spend that much as its an old bar

I fractured the front bumper on my VZ (hit a herd of pigs).
While I was in Melbourne, I went to Knox Plastic Welding, who repaired it for $100.
I got paint matched at Autobarn for $30 (300ml, I think, in a spray can).
My brother-in-law did the spray job.
That was over a year ago: no problems since.

I bought that bar for $230 and spend $450 for painted and fitted and this guy is asking $500 for fix the crack..
