ive got a set of wheels that i could buy but theyve been machined out for a older model
just wondering if they would fit my ve
cheers
ive got them lined up to buy*** ha
You might need to get a hub centric ring but apart from that I don't think there's a problem.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
can you by them can you?
Personally I don't like the idea of using hub rings but a lot of people do without issues.
what so just run the rim without a ring or not at all?
doesnt it just line the wheel up on central?
Hubcentric rim has 2 jobs.
1. Ensure the wheel is centered correctly when putting it on.
2. Ensure it's the hub centre and not the studs backing the loads.
If you want to run pre-VE rims on a VE.. you NEED a hub centric ring.
i have a hub ring on my wheels and i have never had a problem with it
where can you get them from?
Just out of interest which wheels are you putting on your VE?

just 19" ssv wheels sprayed black,
I'd rather a set of black gts wheels hey can't find any decent cheap ones
but it shouldn't look to bad though![]()
Hey Caz_sidi, Did you ever find out about the hub rings.
nahh man i ended up buying some ve gts wheels hey, sorry dude
Pretty sure any wheel shop will be able to get hub rings.
I bought my car with hub rings and wheels spacers because it had VE GTS copies that had been machined for an earlier model. I replaced them straight away because of the illegal spacers.
