You might need to get a hub centric ring but apart from that I don't think there's a problem.

Personally I don't like the idea of using hub rings but a lot of people do without issues.

what so just run the rim without a ring or not at all?

    Hubcentric rim has 2 jobs.

    1. Ensure the wheel is centered correctly when putting it on.
    2. Ensure it's the hub centre and not the studs backing the loads.

If you want to run pre-VE rims on a VE.. you NEED a hub centric ring.

Pretty sure any wheel shop will be able to get hub rings.

I bought my car with hub rings and wheels spacers because it had VE GTS copies that had been machined for an earlier model. I replaced them straight away because of the illegal spacers.
