    Default will 20x8.5 fit?

    Hey guys,
I know if I do a better in depth search I might find the answers im looking for but honestly ive been looking for ages and cannot find what im looking for

Basically im going to be picking up a 08 WM Stato soon and ive been looking for rims, I just wanna know if 20x8.5 will fit without rubbing?

She will not be lowered any time soon either.

Also what is that stock offset?? is it 35, 40 or 45mm??

    thanks in advance guys

no problem, wont rub even if you lower it, stock is 40 from memory, the most common offset for 20x8.5 is 45, standard tyre size for a 20'' rim is 245x35x20 (on VE's)
im out of my mind at the moment...please leave a message

A mate just got 22's with an offset of +35, he's ute is low and they scrub even with the guards rolled so he is taking them back and getting a +45 offset.
+35 on 20's and not lowered will not scrub but the offset you should get incase you want to drop it later on is +45 or even +42 is fine.

Are 8.5's the widest you want to go?

You can go up to 9.5 inches wide without modifying the guards and no rubbing. Some people have gone up to 10 inches with guard modification...

*EDIT* I'm talking about the rears only btw.

Yeah should fit no probs. I had 10" rims earlier in the year and had to get them rolled. Now I have my new 10" rims and they are scrubbing again making me think the offset is heaps different.

The 20" supersports are the width you are talking about and they fit no probs. You should be fine mate

Only asking bout the 35 offset as the wheels I want I can get from the states delievered to my door for $2200 but the offset id 35.
Its certainlt better than the $2300 per rim ive been quoted in perth.

I should mention the $2200 is for the set of 4
