I hope this is the right spot to post this.
I have a VE and the tyres need replacing - the wheels are: 16 x 7 inch steel, Tyres: P225/60 R16 98V. This is an ex police vehicle so I think the wheels are slightly larger?
It seems the brands I have been keen on arent available with the wheel dimensions, so I came here for suggestions!
I was looking at Good Year and Pirelli.
I'm running Bridgestone Adrenalin RE001 on my 16x7 alloys, quite happy with them.
When you say larger do you mean thinker or diameter

Hey mate, tyres are the bain of my life haha..
I always seem to stick with bridgeys
For you I'd suggest
Adrenalin RE001 if you want a more performance orientated tyre
or
Turanza ER300's if performance isn't such a worry..?
Both should be able to come in a 225/60/16
I've used both before, both are good for wear and noise
Just remember more grip = softer compound = faster wearing
or is that more power = faster wearing? i get confused...![]()
Thanks
The car came with Turanza's, they seem to be a good tyre, but I wanted to try some of the different brands, looks lke they dont do 225/60 R16 in GoodYear, I heard the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 were very good.
Try BF Goodrich. They seem to make most sizes and are very sticky - I put them on my sister's 16s on her VT and they're much grippier than the ER300s they replaced.
