Hey guys,
just wondering whether I will have to change shocks if I install my newly purchased SSSL (rear) and SL (front) springs onto my ve. Could I keep them on for a while? Anyone know where to install them at a good price?
cheers,
indayy
Im not to sure, sorry but would love if u posted up a picture of ur springs once installed
You'll need to change the rears i would think at least.
If you have SL front on a SV6/SS etc it wont drop it any
Should have gone SSSL front SSL rear levels it nicely
i have SSSL's on my omega with shocks from an R8 stamped monroe and it rides pretty well considering
SSSL all round sits really nice and rides great considering, with short shocks
SSSL's look great ... and its what i have ... but you really need new shocks as well ... and if you have a v6 you should always go 1 size lower in the front cause the engine doesn't weigh as much ... so i would recomend SSSL rear and SP$ (SSSSL) front
but it does sit quite low
i have sssl front and ssl back.. rides good considering its on stock shocks.. pics in my thread
My new VE 08 SV6 - Red Manual and loving it
thx for the replies guys...might need to get some monroe shocks i reckon... cant do anything with the front sl springs.. hope they settle in though
i have munroe shocks in my car ... and im not overjoyed by them ... the car is comfortable ... yes ... but it still has way to much give in the shocks and if i was to do it again ... which ni probably will soon ... then i wouldn't buy them ... if you save a little bit more there are a lot better options out there
