Default Original Box or Silicon Pipe???

Afetr having mixed reviews from Holden and mates I pose this question to you.

Silicon pipe like airhammer or the stock rectangular box?

    For what purpose?!

If its a mild increase in performance, fuel economy etc.. then an aftermarket CAI would always be more beneficial.

I'd go for the airhammer pipe mate. It would be much less restrictive than the stock set up imo.

Is the walkinshaw cai just the SS inductions one re-badged? I don't see the point in a cai without replacing the stock piping, it would be the biggest restriction in the whole stock air intake.

nope. just the box. even autobarn where i was orignally going to buy it from doesn't have it as standard. Like most things the main thing is cheap it's all the "optional" extras that hit the hip pocket.

yea i'd see if airhammer will come to the party with just a intake pipe only, should be good if they do!

This is my car, this gives you my opinion and what i did, i have had both on seperately and have actually combined the 2 intakes to make the Ultimate intake! haha well in my opinion it is!

Provides the Sound of the Growler and the performance of the Airhammer!
